Taylor was looking for a better way to welcome and inform guests while encouraging them to share their experience on social media. To achieve these goals, Taylor uses Enplug’s digital displays for hospitality:

Check in can at times be information overload with trying to pass on where to visit, what to eat, tours, attractions, rewards club, and more. Enplug allows us to display all of this, keeping our check in streamlined and simple while allowing guests to get a visual representation of what to do, where to go, and how to get there.

To create a connected guest experience, Taylor leverages several of Enplug’s content-ready apps including Graphics, Weather, News, Social Media, and TripAdvisor on a large screen in his hotel lobby.

Taylor uses the Graphics App to feature beautiful photos of surrounding attractions, creating an always-on digital concierge that guests can reference for inspiration.

Enplug’s News App helps Taylor show the latest headlines from BBC Business, Technology, Entertainment, and World, allowing him to automatically curate fresh content that caters to business travelers.

Taylor uses Enplug’s Social Media and TripAdvisor apps to build and showcase Holiday Inn’s social media presence.  According to a third-party study that Enplug commissioned, 57% of consumers use posts on social media to form their opinions about businesses. Further, our research found that 13% of consumers are more likely to share a positive review if the business highlights their social channels on-premise.

Enplug gives our front desk agents a great talking point by mentioning the benefits of staying at our hotel. Guests get to see their reviews and photos, and we encourage guests to hashtag us during their stay to share all the fun things they are doing.
