Enplug and Philips Showcase Turnkey Enterprise Solutions at InfoComm
LOS ANGELES, CA – 12 Jun, 2017 – Enplug (www.enplug.com), the cloud-based platform for businesses to manage their visual communications anywhere, will be showcased at the commercial audiovisual industry’s InfoComm Expo in Orlando, FL from June 14th-16th. Enplug is partnering with Philips (NYSE: PHG), one of the largest technology solutions providers in the world, to create a turnkey digital signage solution for enterprise users.
This summer, Enplug’s DisplayOS digital signage software will be available on Philips’ D-Line professional displays, making Philips the largest company to make its smart displays compatible with the industry-leading signage software.
The Enplug and Philips collaboration will help businesses transform their digital displays into a two-way communications platform in a variety of venues including workplaces, restaurants, retail, hotel lobbies, meeting rooms, and more. These digital displays offer opportunities for both internal and external communications.
“We are happy to announce that businesses can now use Philips’ commercial displays with Enplug’s digital signage software, eliminating the need for a separate media player,” said Nanxi Liu, CEO and Co-Founder of Enplug. “Our partnership with Philips is part of our mission to enable all businesses to have easy-to-implement and effective digital signage.”
Mark Phillips, North America Commercial Director at Philips, said, “We are excited to be working with Enplug to bring powerful and simple digital signage software to Philips customers. The partnership allows businesses to start displaying live and automated content with just a few clicks.”
The new Philips D line is a 24/7 commercial, Android-based, professional display series ranging in sizes from 10” to 65”. The D-Line, as well as the new P-Line, boasts a powerful quad core SOC that can play Android CMS apps, built-in Wi-Fi, and an mPCIe slot for a Bluetooth module. Coupled with the embedded Enplug digital signage software, this display is truly the total package for an out-of-the-box, complete digital signage solution.
Enplug’s content management system is cloud-based, which allows businesses to remotely manage their displays across multiple screens and locations. Users can choose automated content from Enplug’s App Market, which includes social media walls, live news, metrics dashboards, sports scores, weather forecasts, traffic conditions, meeting calendars, and custom webpage content.
Enplug digital signage software transforms any TV or display into a real-time internal or external communications tool. Enplug’s customers include leading global companies such as YouTube, HP, WeWork, Marriott, Porsche and Oracle. Enplug is headquartered in Los Angeles, CA.
